Here at Homestead Wind, we don’t plan on waiting for our project to be completed to get started on our community impact.
This is why we are so proud of our local Community Grant Program. Through this program, we've been able to support community initiatives that help this region thrive. Grants are accepted on a rolling basis, and are awarded quarterly.

Western Star Foundation
During the previous cycle, Homestead Wind awarded funds to the Western Star Foundation on behalf of Kelci Jackson, a Doctor of Audiology at Basin Hearing Solutions. As a current participant of Leadership Williston, her service project focuses on the importance of hearing protection for youth, specifically creating custom hearing protection for Coyote Clay Target shooting league participants.
"With the grant money received from the Homestead Wind Community Grant Program, I will be able to purchase earmold impression material to take custom earmolds for each of the participants," said Jackson. "This grant will provide crucial funds in educating our youngest population on the importance of protecting our ears!"
